Day 1
- Apply for PDVL at GoBusiness Licensing portal using Singpass - $40
- Wait for in-principle approval letter from LTA within 15 working days
Day 15
- Go for PDVL medical check with in-principle approval letter - $39
- Register for the PDVL training course with NTUC LearningHub or ComfortDelGro Taxi online. ($26.75 + SkillsFuture credits $128.40)
Day 30
- Attend PDVL one day training (10.5 hr)
Day 37
- PDVL Test at Singapore Poly. You must pass Paper A, B and C - $48.60
- PDVL Passed - Sign up as PDVL driver with Ryde, Tada, Gojek or Grab
- PDVL Fail - Register for availble date to retake PDVL test
Total cost:

How to apply for PDVL at GoBusiness Licensing portal?
- Login to GoBusiness Licensing portal via Singpass.
- Under Licence Application, search for “PDVL”.
- Fill in the application form and upload NRIC, Passport-sized photo, GCE “O”/“N” Level pass in English or WPL-CAT (Level 3)
- Pay a non-refundable application fee of $40 via credit card, debit card or PayPal.
- Receive an in-principle approval letter from LTA within 15 working days.
Where to go for PDVL Medical Checkup?
- You can visit any clinic that offers PDVL medial checkup.
- During the medical check up, ensure that LTA’s medical examination form is being used.
